New York - OLX, a provider
of free online classifieds in the U.S. and abroad, has raised $13.5
million in its second round of venture capital financing, PEHub.com reported.
Investors included General Catalyst Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners,
Founders Fund and DN Capital.
New York-based OLX was co-founded in 2006 by
Fabrice Grinda, founder of ringtone firm Zingy, and DeRemate founder Alec Oxenford.
The company also has offices in Buenos
Aires, and its Craigslist-like service is available in
42 countries and 12 languages.
