Seattle - BuddyTV, a TV-related entertainment site with
listings, reviews, news and community features, has landed $6 million in its
second round of funding, led by Madrona Venture Group, TechCrunch reported.
Along
with its editorial content, Seattle-based BuddyTV lets TV fans connect with one
another online via a "Television Jockey" application that lets them
broadcast live audio, video, text and polls to one another.
The company has now
raised a total of over $9 million to date, including a $2.8 million round last
June led by Gemstar-TV Guide.
