Visible World Gets $25 Million for Targeted Video Ads

New York - Visible World, a provider of targeted video advertising services, has raised $25 million in a third round of funding led by Adams Street Partners and AllianceBernstein, MediaPost reports.

Previous investors Comcast Interactive Capital, Dawntreader Ventures, Grey Ventures, Leucadia National, Marketing Services Risk Surety, Time Warner and Viacom also participated.

Founded in 2000, New York-based Visible World offers advertisers the ability to create custom TV commercials that may then be targeted to niche cable and online audiences.

The company counts more than 200 customers, including many media firms, broadcasters, and retailers such as Sears, Kmart and Wendy's.
