streaming media services for the entertainment and digital media
markets. We are seeking an experienced entrepreneurial minded Product
Manager to define, manage and execute go-to-market plans for our media
information products.
Established in 1991, Muze provides solutions to companies that enable search, discovery, and selection of entertainment and related products. As a Senior Product Manager, your responsibilities will include: · Work closely with sales, editorial and development teams to bring to market innovative products and services that position Muze as a leader in media information content · Build go-to-market strategies, develop business cases and create the core product management documentation including product vision and scope, key scenarios, and detailed market requirements · Engage with partners, customers and internal groups to understand user needs and requirements to shape new products, services and value propositions that meet evolving industry needs · Continuously reviews performance of media information products, working with editorial, marketing, sales, development and finance to make necessary adjustments to Muze products and services · Conduct and/or collaborate on primary or secondary research projects, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and usability studies · Create and manage product plans, schedule and budgets · Works with sales and Marketing to ensure that Muze has up-to-date competitive intelligence and market trends · Contribute to and/or present the plans to senior management for buy-in and status on a regular basis Qualified candidates will possess: · 4-6 years of progressive work experience in B2B content sales, mobile entertainment services, social networking or Internet retail industry as a product manager, product marketing manager or program manager · Knowledge of the entertainment industry, digital media for music labels, film studios, online publishing or online games is preferred but not necessary · First hand experience at building go-to market strategy for new products and expanding customer base · Strong collaboration skills as you will be working cross-company with key business stakeholders and partners to define and track key product performance indicators · Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking, communication and presentation skills We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
