Indianapolis, Ind. - Digonex Technologies announced on Monday that major label Warner Music Group will use its technology to test variable pricing on select digital album downloads.

Indiana-based Digonex's technology suggests changes to album prices based on behavioral principles that "continuously identify the 'sweet spot' where prices follow perceived market value and generate the maximum economic return while providing fair prices for consumers."

"Digonex's technology provides us a unique window into one of the key variables that impacts consumer behavior and by employing tools such as these we can continue to refine and improve our digital offerings," said Larry Mattera, SVP of digital sales and marketing at WEA Corp, Warner Music's U.S. sales and marketing company.

Along with Warner, Digonex's variable pricing technology is also being utilized by Naxos, Nettwerk Music and PassAlong Networks.
