Los Angeles - Apple (NASD: AAPL) has
signed deals with international wireless carrier Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) to distribute its
iPhone in 10 countries, and with Telecom Italia to distribute the device in Italy. Vodafone
will offer the iPhone in Australia,
the Czech Republic,
Egypt, Greece, Italy,
India, Portugal, New
Zealand, South Africa
and Turkey.
Apple recently partnered with Rogers Communications to distribute the iPhone in
Canada, and is already
offering the device in the U.K.,
France, Germany and Spain.
