Herzliya,
Israel - Jinni,
a developer of personalized content search and discovery technology, has raised
a $1 million first round of financing from Start-Up Factory, Globes Online
reported.
Founded in 2007, Israel-based Jinni's intelligent recommendation
system lets users search using natural metaphors, develop profiles based on
viewing behavior, and meet others with shared tastes.
The company, whose
service is in beta, said it is currently looking to partner with TV operators and
Internet content providers.
