Social Gaming Network Raises $15 Million

Palo Alto, Calif. - Social Gaming Network (SGN), a developer of social media games whose titles include "Warbook" on Facebook, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $15 million in its first round of funding, led by Greylock Partners, Founders Fund, Columbia Capital and Novak Biddle Venture Partners.

Palo Alto, Calif.-based SGN's games have to date attracted over 1 billion page views, 54 million installs and 1.1 million daily active users across Facebook, Bebo, Hi5 and MySpace.

The company will use the funds to beef up research and development of its gaming platform, and to produce more tools for social game developers.
