New York - Global management consulting and outsourcing firm Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced on Wednesday that it will acquire Origin Digital, a provider of video capture, transformation and delivery services to content owners.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

New Jersey-based Origin Digital provides hosted applications, tools and services to simplify the capture, conversion and control of digital media, and shares several Fortune 500 company clients with Accenture.

Accenture said the deal, expected to close in 30 days, will expand its ability to help its clients grow their digital media revenue through Origin's expertise in mobile, broadband, IPTV and video-on-demand services.
