- Wetpaint, the provider of an embeddable wiki platform for social publishing
sites, announced on Monday that it has raised a $25 million third round of funding,
co-led by DAG Ventures and an unnamed financial investor.
Previous backers
Accel Partners, Trinity Ventures and Frazier Technology Ventures also
participated.
Seattle-based Wetpaint also launched its Injected platform, which
enables publishers to add wiki features to sites, in turn allowing users to add
their own images, audio, video and widgets.
Customers of Wetpaint's free
products include Fox, Showtime, Discovery Channel and Warner Bros.
