Seattle - Wetpaint, the provider of an embeddable wiki platform for social publishing sites, announced on Monday that it has raised a $25 million third round of funding, co-led by DAG Ventures and an unnamed financial investor.

Previous backers Accel Partners, Trinity Ventures and Frazier Technology Ventures also participated.

Seattle-based Wetpaint also launched its Injected platform, which enables publishers to add wiki features to sites, in turn allowing users to add their own images, audio, video and widgets.

Customers of Wetpaint's free products include Fox, Showtime, Discovery Channel and Warner Bros. Telepictures.
