New York - Veotag, a provider of media publishing software, announced that it has raised $1.2 million of investment funds from Bill Perkins of Small Ventures USA.

New York-based Veotag's software offers tools to publish audio and video to the Internet, making it possible to "tag" a video, create a table of contents and add links and additional resources.

Videos enhanced by Veotag can be indexed by Google, Yahoo, or an organization's own search engine, allowing viewers to search for content within videos.
