San Francisco - BitTorrent, a provider of peer-to-peer file-sharing technology, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with place-shifting software company Orb Networks to enable BitTorrent downloads to be played on any connected device. The BitTorrent software client will be bundled with the Orb PC application, which allows users to access the media on their computers and home television services from any Web-enabled video device.
