Nashville, Tenn. - Spinnaker Media, a holding company created to acquire family-friendly entertainment and media companies, has purchased Christian music discovery service HearItFirst from major label EMI's Christian Music Group, PaidContent reported.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

HearItFirst was launched in 2005 and currently claims 180,000 members, and 600,000 unique monthly visitors.

Under the deal, Spinnaker will continue to stock HearItFirst with exclusive content from both EMI CMG and Sony BMG's Provident Music Group.

Spinnaker's other holdings include InternetSafety.com, Documentary Channel and Famplosion.com.
