San Francisco - Apple (NASD: AAPL) is expected to release the first native third-party applications for its iPhone on Monday -- the same day that CEO Steve Jobs is expected to unveil the next-generation model of the handset -- CNET News.com reported, citing a source at a software company that has been working on an iPhone application. That company plans to launch its iPhone application on Monday, signaling that the App Store that will be the only place where users can purchase and download the applications will also launch next week.
