Los Angeles - Classic rock
group Boston
has hired a new lead singer, who came to their attention via karaoke videos
posted on his MySpace profile. Tommy DeCarlo, a 43-year-old father of two
residing in Charlotte, N.C.,
told ABC's "Good Morning America" that his daughter posted videos of
him singing karaoke Boston songs on MySpace, which
Boston founder
Tom Scholz's wife came across as the band was searching for a singer to replace
Brad Delp, who committed suicide in March 2007.
