RadioShack Teams with Libraries on DTV Transition Campaign

Fort Worth, Texas - Electronics retail chain RadioShack (NYSE: RSH) announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with the American Library Association (ALA) on a public education program about the upcoming digital TV transition. Under the deal, RadioShack's 4,500 company stores and many of its 1,000-plus franchises will offer knowledgeable employees to 16,000 ALA public libraries to host educational sessions for library patrons, to include instructions on how to apply for government coupons to put towards the purchase of digital TV adapters.
