San Francisco - WooMe, an online video dating service that utilizes webcams, announced this week that it has landed a $12.5 million second round of financing, led by Index Ventures with participation from return backers Atomico and Mangrove Capital Partners.

Founded in 2006 and officially launched six months ago, San Francisco-based WooMe now claims over 350,000 registered users in more than 150 countries.
