Northeast Wisconsin Technical College has an opportunity available on our Green Bay, WI campus. Anticipated start date is August 4, 2008. Prior teaching experience is not required, but 2+ years related occupational experience is essential. This position is customer-focused and will require flexible scheduling and/or delivery to meet customer needs. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Responsible for managing the teaching/learning process, curriculum review and development, and student advising in the Digital Media Technology program. · Provide educational leadership and work effectively with applicable Advisory Committees, faculty, administration and community groups. · Primary instructional responsibility is in support of the Digital Media Technology program courses and related certificates. · Responsible for creating and managing a student-centered learning environment to ensure individuals develop competencies necessary for successful employment. · Reviews, revises, and develops curriculum to meet occupational needs and to utilize emerging technologies and methods of delivery such as interactive ITV, Internet, and accelerated learning principles. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Graphic Arts or related Business area and two years successful direct occupational experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and direct work experience required. · Direct experience in digital video studio operations and production, motion graphics, animation, multimedia and internet broadcasting applications (Macintosh environment preferred). · Direct experience in digital audio studio operations, sound design, soundtracks, multimedia, non-linear multi-track audio and internet broadcasting applications (Macintosh environment preferred). · Must have demonstrated strong computer skills. · Must be eligible for certification under the administrative code of the Wisconsin Technical College system. · Prior teaching/training experience with adult learners preferred. · Ability to work in a team environment. · Ability to work non-standard hours including evenings and weekends required. SALARY: Based on a 180-day contract obligation, minimum starting salary is $46,959 for a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum experience. Maximum starting salary is $70,352 for Doctorate and appropriate experience.
