London, Ky. - Wazoo Sports, an Internet broadcaster of high school sports events, said on Wednesday that it has received a $2 million equity investment from Meritus Ventures.

Kentucky-based Wazoo says it broadcast 88 high school basketball games live over the Internet last year.

The company intends to use the funds to aggressively expand its network to capitalize on national high school sports opportunities.
