San Francisco
- Seesmic, a developer of live video webcam communications technology, has
raised $6 million in new funding, led by Omidyar Network and Wellington
Partners, VentureBeat reported.
San Francisco-based Seesmic's platform is used
on over 1,500 sites to allow users to post short videos on blogs, or clips to
post in comments sections.
The company was founded by French Web entrepreneur
Loic Le Meur, and previously raised $6 million in February, in a round led by
Atomico that included participation from TechCrunch's Michael Arrington.
