IAC to Launch Online Ad Network for Various Web Properties

New York - InterActiveCorp. (IAC) (NASD: IACI) has announced plans to launch an online advertising network that will cover all of its 26 various brands and Web properties, including Evite, Citysearch and Match.com.

The deal will include the businesses that IAC recently announced it would spin off into separate companies.

The company's IAC Advertising Solutions unit said the network will offer advertisers a range of "cubes," varying in demographic makeup. The first nine of these cubes will consist of 18-34 year olds, Men, Women, Affluents, Parents, Active Shoppers, Active Travelers, Homeowners and Sports Fans.

"We're in a unique position in that we can corroborate multiple kinds of data -- including declared, information users offer about themselves; transactional, online purchasing activity; and inferred, such as what they do offline like attend concerts or go on dates -- from the diverse portfolio of IAC sites to more precisely identify users as part of a particular audience segment," said Rich Stalzer, president of IAC Advertising Solutions.

"This type of precision is unmatched in the current marketplace."
