Palo Alto,
Calif. - Jaxtr, a provider of
Internet phone services for social networks and blogs, said on Tuesday that it
has raised $10 million in its second round of funding, led by new investor
Lehman Brothers Venture Partners.
The company, which launched its first
consumer service in March 2007, previously had raised $10 million in its first
round last summer.
The service, used by more than 10 million people, links
users' mobile phones to the Web, allowing them to keep their phone numbers
private while making less expensive long distance calls.
