San Francisco - Yoono, the developer of a social Web browser extension for Mozilla's Firefox, has added $4 million to its first round of venture capital financing, which was led by AGF Private Equity, TechCrunch reported.

The San Francisco-based company launched in May, and just opened a public beta of its service, which allows users to share links, feeds and various media content.

Yoono will use the funds for continued growth and to expand its offering of widgets.
