DMW Vlog: PassAlong's Dave Jaworski on the New (Red) Music Service

Authored by Jay Baage on June 30, 2008 - 11:46am.

(RED), the charity organization started by U2 lead singer Bono, has announced plans to launch a $5 per month online music service that will feature original songs from participating artists. PassAlong Networks will power the music service for (RED). In this exclusive DMW Interview from the Digital Media Conference, PassAlong Network's CEO Dave Jaworski speaks about the service, the goals of the campaign and why PassAlong was chosen to power it and not Apple's iTunes.

Very interestingly thanks!

Enough of the RED Campaign

Please stop the madness with this RED Campaign. Its a self-righteous and totally ineffective movement. It has costed $40 million more in marketing than its raised, and tells consumers all you have to do to fight AIDS is buy stuff. We need to be listening to the real grassroots leaders who are fighting AIDS (and many of whom, coincidentally, are quite critical of Bono). Join the campaign calling on Bono to retire from public life and stop installing himself as the frontman of movements he doesn't understand... http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/bono-retire-from-public-life-and-well-...
