European Tech Publisher Bestofmedia Group Gets $35 Million

Paris - Bestofmedia Group, a European technology publishing company, announced on Thursday that it has received a $35 million investment from Index Ventures.

Founded in 2000, France-based Bestofmedia Group counts more than 25 million unique monthly visitors across its sites, and claims to be the third-ranking technology publisher, behind CNET and IDG.

Bestofmedia sites include Tom's Hardware, Tom's Guide and Tom's Games, in addition to Buycentral.com and Jeuvideopc.com.

The company said the investment will allow it to continue executing on its strategy for growth, and to expand its offerings.
