Silver Spring, Md. - Two months after announcing $15 million in new funding, Silicon Valley's Social Gaming Network (SGN) revealed on Monday that it has received an undisclosed amount of additional funding from Bezos Expeditions, the investment fund of Amazon (NASD: AMZN) founder and CEO Jeff Bezos.

SGN, launched in December by Maryland-based Webs.com (formerly Freewebs), is the originator of a platform designed to help social game developers distribute and monetize their games across the social Web.

"SGN has the expertise to bring gaming into entirely new markets," says Steve Campbell, the CIO of Bezos Expeditions. "There's an obvious benefit to gaining such deep traction in the social networking area."

Since its inception, SGN's games have attracted more than 1 billion page views and nearly 1.1 million daily active users across Facebook, Bebo, hi5 and MySpace.

The company landed its first round of funding in May, co-led by Greylock Partners and Founders Fund.
