San Francisco - A survey of 50 AT&T stores in 21 cities across 11 states conducted by CNET News.com found that none had a single Apple iPhone 3G in stock. The stores are offering "direct fulfillment" orders, where a customer can pay in advance for a phone, but most of these said even that process is running between 10 and 21 days. CNET contacted Apple retail stores in the same cities, and found seven stores reported having the iPhone in stock.
