Beijing - Chinese video-sharing site Ku6.com announced on Monday that it has raised "several tens of millions" of dollars in its second round of venture capital financing, from investors including UMC Capital, SBI, Itochu and Hotung Group.

Previous backers DFJ and DT China also participated.

Founded in 2006, Beijing-based Ku6.com holds a license to operate from the Chinese government, and also recently inked a deal with CCTV.com to syndicate Olympics coverage on its site.

The company will use the funds to further develop its website.
