New York - Frank N. Magid Associates, a research-based strategic consulting firm, announced that it has promoted Mike Vorhaus to President of Magid Advisors.

Magid Advisors is the company's strategy and investment consulting practice serving media, entertainment, and communications companies as well as investment firms.

Vorhaus, who joined the company in 1995 and was instrumental in the development of the Magid Internet and New Media research and consultation practice, was formerly Senior Vice President and Managing Director of New Media and Strategy.
