Qumu Raises $10.7 Million for Video Content Management

Emeryville, Calif. - Qumu, a developer of Web-based software that allows clients to publish and distribute video content, said on Monday that it has raised $10.7 million in its third round of funding, led by Advanced Technology Ventures.

SAP Ventures, Storm Ventures, Garage Technology Ventures, Halo Opportunity Fund and the Angels Forum also participated.

Emeryville, Calif.-based Qumu, which counts Dell, Microsoft and eBay among its customers, said that it will use the funds to expand its product development, sales and marketing efforts.

The company also announced a collaboration deal with AT&T to deliver streaming video and webcasting over emerging media networks.
