Cambridge, Mass. - Market research firm Forrester Research (NASD: FORR) announced on Thursday that it has acquired JupiterResearch from MCG Capital Corp. for $23 million in cash and assumed liabilities.

"Uniting JupiterResearch and Forrester brings together the two leading research brands used by Marketing & Strategy executives," said Forrester chairman and CEO George F. Colony.

JupiterResearch counts 83 employees and saw 2007 revenues of $14 million, while Forrester employs a workforce of more than 1,000 and saw 2007 revenues of $212 million.
