New York - Research firm ABI Research predicts that the developing location-based mobile social networking industry will turn into a $3.3 billion market worldwide by 2013, according to Alley Insider. ABI analyst Dominique Bonte suggests that location-based mobile advertising "holds a lot of promise" but licensing and subscription revenue-sharing, such as Loopt's recent deal with Verizon Wireless, is the most likely near-term revenue streams.
