New York - Tabula Digita, a developer of educational games, announced that it has closed on its second round of venture capital financing, led by Ascend Venture Group.

PEHub.com reported the company has secured $6 million of a $7.57 million round, citing a regulatory filing.

New York-based Tabula Digita creates pre-algebra and algebra software programs to K-12 schools and consumers.

The company closed its first round of funding in December 2005, and has raised more than $8 million to date.
