Shanghai - Ultizen Games, a game development outsourcing company based in China, announced on Tuesday that it has secured $6 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Taiwan's PAC-LINK.

Japan Asia Investment Co. (JAIC) and online ad agency CyberAgent also participated in the round, proceeds from which will go towards supporting the company's continued growth through acquisitions.

Founded in 2005, Shanghai-based Ultizen provides game art development outsourcing services to North American, European and Japanese clients, ranging from top publishers to small and mid-size studios.

The company, which also operates an office in Los Angeles, is a certified Microsoft Xbox Live Arcade developer, and plans to launch its first title for that platform in the fall.

Ultizen previously raised $1.5 million from Dragonvest Partners last June.
