New York - Digital music distributor The Orchard (NASD: ORCD) on Wednesday announced a deal with rapper and producer Lil Jon, whereby the company will digitally reissue the artist's back catalogue -- which it now owns through its acquisition of TVT Records. Under the deal, Lil Jon has withdrawn a "multi-million-dollar objection to the TVT sale proceedings," while The Orchard has released him from all future obligations under his TVT contract and granted him ownership of master recordings for his upcoming album "Crunk Rock." Lil Jon will also now collaborate with the company on A&R, as well as support The Orchard's Brand Entertainment group.
