Torrance,
Calif. - Knowledge Adventure, a
developer of 3D virtual worlds for children, announced on Monday that it has
closed on a $5 million second round of financing, led by Azure Capital and
TeleSoft Partners.
Torrance, Calif.-based
Knowledge Adventure, which developed educational applications such as
"Math Blaster" and "JumpStart," is now focused on
developing adventure-based, 3D virtual worlds for kids ages 3-10.
The company
will use the funds to hire additional staff.
