CNET Seeks iPhone 3G Owners' Feedback in Reception StudyAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on August 12, 2008 - 12:27pm.
San Francisco - Following up on a piece it published yesterday on the reception problems that some Apple (NASD: AAPL) iPhone 3G customers are experiencing, both with AT&T (NYSE: T) in the U.S. and worldwide, CNET News.com on Tuesday posted a call for iPhone 3G owners to provide additional information for its study. "We'd like to have a little more data to see if there are any patterns connected to who is having problems, and who isn't," the report said. The questions ask if users have "experiences problems with dropped calls or flaky 3G connections," and also ask them to contact AT&T to find out whether the primary 3G tower they are connected to runs on the 1900MHz or 850MHz frequency.
