Kirkland, Wash. - Online video news aggregation service 1Cast announced on Tuesday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of first round funding, in a round led by Eagle River Holdings.

Kirkland, Wash.-based 1Cast plans later this year to launch a beta version of its product, a real-time aggregation and delivery platform for broadcast and other professionally-produced video news content.

The company said its service will allow broadcasters to "distribute their content in a way that preserves their brand integrity and adds additional revenue streams."
