New York - Warner Music Group (NYSE: WMG) has purchased a majority stake in Get In, a Spain-based artist management and touring agency for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 1990, Get In manages acts including the Grammy-winning La Oreja de Van Gogh, and has staged local concerts for acts including Metallica and Lenny Kravitz.

"This deal will accelerate our abilities to partner with our acts on a broader basis and to connect them with our fans in a richer, more diverse fashion," said Warner Music Spain president Charlie Sanchez.

The company has of late taken steps to diversify from recorded music, including the launch of an artist management division in the U.K., and the acquisitions of Finnish and French touring and promotion companies.
