New York - The Associated Press recently reported on Mygazines.com, a site where at least 16,000 users trade uploaded editions of popular magazine titles for free. Representatives from various publishers told AP they are aware of the site, and are investigating means of shutting it down -- although its location on the island nation of Anguilla, outside of the confines of U.S. copyright laws, will likely somewhat impede their efforts.
