New York - Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. (NYSE: NWS) bought a minority stake in student journalism site Palestra.net in May, and will begin including student-reported news pieces on its Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network in the fall, Forbes.com reports.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Palestra currently counts some 125 reporters at 101 schools in the U.S.

The company pays between $240 and $300 to students who produce three news packages per week for its website and Fox's networks.

Fox's relationship with Palestra began last November, when a Palestra student reporter filed a story during wildfires near Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
