Los Angeles
- The president of troubled Japanese video game publisher Tecmo on Wednesday announced
his resignation for "personal reasons," Kotaku reports.
Yoshimi
Yasuda and the company have been sued by star developer Tomonobu Itagaki ("Ninja
Gaiden," "Dead or Alive") and other key Tecmo developers over
allegedly unpaid overtime wages.
Tecmo said in a statement that chairman
Yasuharu Kakihara will assume the additional role of president as of Sept. 1.
