Providence, R.I. - MoFuse, a provider of software that allows bloggers and other content producers to publish their content to the mobile Web, announced on Thursday that it secured its first round of seed capital, from the Slater Technology Fund.

Founded last August, MoFuse released its first technology product privately two months later and opened it to the public on November 1.

The platform allows users to very quickly create a mobile website.

It had 2,200 mobile sites in its network at the end of last year, and has grown to nearly 12,000 sites.
