Nashville, Tenn. - StudioNow, an online network of video production professionals that offer their services to businesses, is expected to announce on Wednesday that it has secured $2 million in new private equity funding, from Clayton Associates and existing investors.

The new sum brings the company's first round total to $4.1 million.

Founded in 2007, Nashville-based StudioNow operates a Web-based network of video and movie editors, videographers, directors, producers, animators and voice-over artists, who collaboratively can create digital content at lower costs than standard production houses.

The company's partners include Clear Channel Radio, CBS Radio and CitySearch.

StudioNow previously raised $1.5 million in June 2007, from Claritas Capital and individual investors.
