San Diego
- Sony (NYSE: SNE) on Thursday introduced three new Walkman digital music and video players
(series S, E and B). The Walkman S-series ($150 4GB, $180 8GB) supports Windows
video files with DRM, and features in-flight noise-cancelling headphones and SensMe
Channels -- automatically created to align with a user's preferences. The E-series
($100 4GB, $140 8GB) also supports video but offers fewer features, while the B-series
($45 1GB, $60 2GB) line is meant as an entry-level music player, and drops
video support entirely.
