Los Angeles - SpeedDate, an online, webcam-based dating service, has raised $6 million in its second round of funding, led by Menlo Ventures, TechCrunch reported.

SpeedDate allows members to get to know each other during three-minute video chats on their webcams.

Launched in 2007, the company now claims it is serving 100,000 dates daily.
