Pressmart, an India-based provider of digital publishing services for print
media producers, announced on Thursday that it has raised $6 million in its
first round of venture capital financing, led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and
NEA IndoUS Ventures.
Pressmart currently counts more than 350 print media customers, including the Sun, Hindustan Times and CNBC Europe. The company will use the investment to expand its global sales, marketing and customer support presence across 35 countries.
