Taco Bell Reprises "Feed the Beat" Indie Music Promotion

Irvine, Calif. - Fast food chain Taco Bell said on Thursday that it will reprise its "Feed the Beat" indie music promotion, this year offering 100 bands a month's supply of Taco Bell Bucks ($500) while they are on tour. This year, three bands will also be selected to record a single that will be promoted on the Feed the Beat website. Past recipients included We Are the Fury, Meriwether and Girl Talk -- the latter of whom shared all of his Taco Bell food winnings with fans after a concert in Pittsburgh.
