EA to Release "Spore Origins" Game for iPhone

Los Angeles - Electronic Arts (NASD: ERTS) said on Friday that "Spore Origins," an off-shoot version of its evolution simulation game for the iPhone and iPod touch, will be released later this month. The company further said that it currently has nine games in development for the iPhone, including "Yahtzee Adventures," "EA Mini Golf," "Lemonade Tycoon," "Mahjong," "Monopoly," "Sim City," "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09," "Need for Speed: Undercover" and "The Sims 3."
