- Verimatrix, a provider of software-based content security technology for
pay-TV networks, said on Monday that it has received an additional investment
from SunAmerica Ventures for its recently announced third round of funding,
which was led by Goldman Sachs.
The total amount raised in the round has not yet been disclosed. San Diego-based Verimatrix says its VCAS technology is the top global content protection system for IPTV. The additional capital will accelerate the deployment of the company's 3-Dimensional Content Security solutions for the digital video market.
